car rendering After Effects, Maya, mental ray November 2009
stillframe from a personal project. i decided to keep the animation short and simple, so i can concentrate on integrating the car into the background image. i also wanted to use this project to learn maya composite as it is nodebased. i had modelled the car some time ago. the hdri and matching backplate are from http://www.hdri-locations.com
the breakdown was done in After Effects (and of course the magnificient lens flare )
